The 2025 Unsloth Mistral Small 3.2 chat template only emitted [AVAILABLE_TOOLS] when the conversation ended on a user or tool turn, so every fine-tuning row ending in an assistant reply silently lost the tool list. Rewrite that template at load time to place the tool list before the last user message, matching mistral_common in both serving and finetuning mode. Serving prompts are unchanged; other templates are left untouched. Fixes https://github.com/unslothai/unsloth/issues/3096 |
