On a paired Legacy/Managed Bridge, permission rules, the settings reload, the Session Workflow gate, model providers and Skills now reach every live engine. After workspace control handles the command, each live channel of another engine gets a versioned qwen/control/workspace/change notification and must acknowledge that exact revision; an engine that exits during delivery counts as settled. An engine that does not acknowledge is quarantined with the new reason workspace_change_unacknowledged, through the paired quarantine: no fresh sessions or new work, settled sessions close, and the channel retires by the drain deadline. After a change that tightens permissions its running turns are cancelled at once, its permission requests are refused, and Goal turns the child reports later are cancelled. A late exact acknowledgement of every missing change ends the quarantine early. Every quarantine now also refuses shell commands and continuations, and checks a prompt again after its attachments resolve. The command fails as partially applied; the workspace service still publishes saved permission rules and returns the Legacy reload result. Propagation is skipped while a workspace stop is in progress, and single-factory Bridges are unchanged. Part of #12737 (slice B2b, part two). |
