The target gained #1938 (complete client entry views), #1954 (room
history speed), #1956 (reconnect static pin), #1957 (room work jump) and
#1941 (per-project Context and Effort). Conflicts resolved by intent:
chat.js keeps this change's tracking of every owner message and clears
the reply strip, in the target's tighter comments; the Project bindings
read keeps the names map beside the target's mtime-keyed bindings lens;
EffortRange, the client contract's history paging, DESIGN's room history
and architecture 06's effort paragraph take the target text, with
start_task and move_to_project in place of the retired verbs; generated
inventories and the domain map regenerated.
Down and Back return a jumped chain to the present by reading it, whatever stream the
jumped page held; a left page that can no longer be read (the room's view changed) ends
Back instead of asking for a retry; a late answer to a dropped look never clears a newer
look of the same row; the server says moved only for rows another room's rule keeps, so a
task whose only row Main hides is absent. The real-server jump test gains a task that only
narrated; the model-wait fixture carries the wait id its card needs; contract and design
wording follow the narration-only paging.
A row whose card is not loaded asks the room's history on its press: the chat reads the
page around the task as its own chain (never the present, the arrivals cursor kept), lands
on the task's card, else its own row, and Back to reading returns: to the present the
reader was following, else to the passage left, reading its page again when it was let go.
Before a press a row claims nothing about where its message is; after it, it says what the
press found, for the census facts it answered. A navigation waits out a window read, keeps
the window's Retry, is dropped when the reader moves on or dismisses the list, and Load more
never sends a jumped page to the present.
The target gained #1813 (acceptance pass reuse), #1947 (resume native
succession), #1946 (responsive question card) and #1774 (Continue title
stacking). Conflicts resolved by intent: the Resume grant keeps the
target's root-resume state read and this change's control-actor
attribution; PERSISTENCE keeps both new clauses of the task-documents row;
architecture chapter 03 takes the target's tighter composer paragraph
with move_to_project in place of ensure_project_scope; DESIGN takes the
target's question-card status text. Generated inventories and the domain
map regenerated.
Retain public MainWaiting/Close and the raised option geometry. Resolve the single quiz CSS overlap with an inset pending ring and immediate pending tone; retain public hover/press/settled styles. Both Chromium/WebKit flows and 114 focused Node/i18n cases pass. The optional Argon delta inspection timed out without a verdict; this narrow CSS resolution is explicitly author-accepted under Cyber judgment, not represented as a new whole-panel PASS.
Keep the selected expanded form responsive before network confirmation. Persist drafts and exact unconfirmed attempts, restore by reading canonical state, and offer explicit same-answer recovery without automatic POSTs. Preserve newer MainWaiting and quiet Close behavior.
Reviewed through cumulative Astra/Claude Opus/GLM CODE/coupling evidence, final GLM record rl-20261016T215504-7d12c0d4e9b0 and Claude delta run-3aa23638df54. Final i18n producer-list delta is test-only. Selected consumer checks pass; full Python and native qualification are not claimed. Version-neutral official contribution; no tag or local adoption.
The target gained the airy visual layer and design bible (#1924) and
the test-health follow-up (#1942). Conflicts resolved by intent: DESIGN
takes the target's rewritten Room work status and Free answer passages;
the domain rows for the test-health modules are the target's (one copy
each); the quiz-card bubble floor follows the target's 18px bubble
padding (298px); ui.css keeps this change's live-card shadow beside the
target's surface and tone tokens; the owner-input test keeps this
change's dispatched echo with the target's 'Sending' word; the Project
work-card browser file keeps this change's portal tests (the target's
edits were to entry tests this change retired). Generated domain map and
inventories regenerated.
The client contract again states the history_id and history_position
shapes, that a re-read returns the same history_id, and that
client_message_id also correlates some quiz publications (the code never
changed). DESIGN's Project reference rules no longer point at the
retired Project work entry.
The client contract said `reply_to` twice (Identity and References); it now
says it once, in References, with the snippet rule, the relay `quotes` and
`reply_to_relay`. Neighbouring prose in sections 5 to 7 is tightened without
dropping a field, value, route, shape or condition: the no-resume-cursor fact
and the `task_id_pending` caveat are each stated once, and the `sha` note joins
the Checkout bullet. 73,328 -> 72,194 bytes (base 72,372).
DESIGN tightens the Replies section, the Work portal paragraph, the composer's
Send as new sentence and the rest of sections 4 and 5. Three rules stated
twice keep one statement: a host fact about a task is a row of its card (Chat
authorship), waiting chips do not animate (first Subscription waits paragraph),
and a question's answer field is a message field (section 3). 136,851 ->
135,355 bytes (base 135,598).
DESIGN's Replies paragraph says a relay shows each owner message it
passes on, a captionless file by its name, and that Telegram sends the
same as plain text; the client contract names the relay's quotes list;
architecture chapter 03 no longer says Cancel is withheld from a moved
(converted) work's Main card.
The merged target brought two outlined controls. Main's waiting pill joins the composer's
capsules as the amber tone of the owner's turn (no outline, the rest shadow, glass, 600, a press
in colour); the question card's × is a quiet control with no body until hover. The rule for the
retired `Close without answering` disclosure and its DESIGN.md sentence are gone.
Conflicts resolved by intent: Main keeps the target's waiting pill
(mainWaiting) and this change's work portals in place of the removed
Needs you panel and Project entries; the completion mirror follows the
target's CSS fold without a Files fetch while an answer for another room's
work stays unfolded; docs keep the Work portal and Replies text, take the
target's current-decisions and Main-decisions wording, and the restart
paragraph gains the boot completion of interrupted pause seeds. chat.js
stays under its byte cap. The target's six new modules get domain rows
(test_domain_manifest was red on the target).
Apply L4's edits: the Project work entry gives way to the work portal (the
moved work's one Main card), a new DESIGN 'Replies' subsection covers the
Reply controls, the composer strip, host-derived quotes, relay shape F and
the row menu, the doubt row offers Send as new for every owner message, and
the client contract names reply_to, row addresses and relay rows. The
DEVELOPMENT continuation invariant drops the retired predecessor selector,
which keeps that book no larger than its base.
Review round 4 (Astra, Opus, Grok):
- The shared menu and model list take the float sheet (surface, shadow, object radius, glass)
in ui.css, so setup's model chooser matches the application's menus.
- A chosen answer card's detail keeps the meta ink on the green tone instead of the disabled
ink (2.6:1 in light, 3.3:1 in dark).
- A Project row in the sidebar keeps its own fuchsia when chosen, as before this pull request;
round 3 had silently turned it crimson and left `.nav-project-row.active` dead.
- DESIGN.md: the dark seed cells are the tokens that paint (capsule hover rgb(60 46 70 / .72),
float rgb(38 31 46 / .94), crimson tonal base #f05a6a); the summary names answer cards and
limits "no gradient" to what lies behind content; the Shade is named as the one sheet that
continues its bar's ink instead of glass.
Owner answers 16.10 on the real-data renders:
- The dark theme keeps today's materials under the one bible ("Step 2"): the near-black violet
room, the voices as blue and crimson glass, controls and sheets as glass over what scrolls
under them (`--glass`), no outlines, no rain and no glows. The provisional Graphite values are
gone; the light theme is unchanged.
- An offered answer in a question is an elevated card: the capsule surface on the rest shadow
with the object radius, so a paragraph-long answer stays readable and still stands like every
other pressable thing; hover and press change its colour; settled answers lie flat.
DESIGN.md: shape follows content (a one-line control is a capsule, a choice that carries a
paragraph is a card), height does not.
Review round 3 (Astra, Opus, Grok, own reviewer):
- Menus and the shared dialog are float sheets: the float surface, its shadow and radius.
- Pressing ↓ latest no longer drops its centring transform; the budget never scales on hover.
- A disabled Send, history control or Shade pill neither stands nor answers hover.
- The tonal crimson ink is a token of its own: #b52b3b in light (4.5:1 on voice-tinted backings
too), #ffa0aa in dark; dark crimson fills step 18/24 %.
- The sidebar's chosen place uses that ink; a tab's label turns primary on hover; the
Context/Effort head hovers in the neutral surface; the header's dead "on" rule is gone.
- A question card's bubble floor follows the bubble's 18px padding (298px), restoring the
260px card floor.
- The room-status browser test asserts the mark's amber colour, not only the flag.
Resolve the configuration documentation around room cognition and retained task settings, and regenerate combined inventories.

Owner answers 16.10, round 3:
- Height: every control with a body stands on the rest shadow in every state and either
theme, as on macOS. Hover and a press deepen its own colour (--press); a chosen or
switched-on capsule takes its tone and keeps standing; only what cannot be pressed now
(a disabled control, a status chip, a tray) lies flat. The press sink and the hover lift
are gone.
- One set of recipes for both themes: the light-only scoping is gone. ui.css carries the
bible's seed for dark in :root (graphite; height is also lightness: room < object <
capsule) and for light in its block. The dark room loses its glows and the matrix rain
(utils.initMatrixRain and its browser test are removed).
- Composer capsules: a setting's name in the secondary ink at 500, its value in the meta
ink at 600, never the darkest; colour only in the ring. An unknown range is never faded:
the ring stays unlit and the value secondary.
- The question card adds no box inside its bubble. Offered answers are capsules standing
on the rest shadow (a choice, never a field); Send is the crimson capsule and lies flat
until there is text; Close without answering is a quiet disclosure in the meta size;
the Question chip never breaks inside its word.
- The room's status: the word, then one mark (three dots or one), as on the sidebar's
rows; a waiting question turns that mark amber instead of adding a second dot.
- docs/DESIGN.md: the bible holds for both themes, with a light | dark seed table.
- web/modules/chat.js: two comments tightened so the file stays under 200000 bytes.
A press sinks a capsule only when motion is welcome, and under reduced motion its release has no spring. Hovering a
chosen settings segment keeps its tone. The setup page's chosen step tints once: its index keeps the ink and adds no
second fill, so the label keeps reading contrast. The status keeps the host's longest hold label whole in a default
desktop Project panel: the title's floor is 5ch and the sentence's tint pill takes 10px a side. DESIGN §3 says a
control's own label follows the bible's ink rule, not the content rule. The header geometry lock asks its last
question with a fresh turn, since a direct turn that left the census does not come back.
The setup page and Settings' segmented choices join the capsule tones (the Appearance choice moves to ui.css, which
both documents load); the setup shell is the plain room with its step body an object and its cards trays. Light
object and tray rules no longer erase a page's own states: a spent account, the Danger Zone and a widget drop
target keep their tones. Main's title block shares the phone's first row with the menu button (its basis is capped
by the row) and keeps the commands on the title's row down to the old width. A room's status reads offline until
the producer's first answer, a rejoining call is one held dot, and the status word keeps its whole length (the
24ch cap goes; the title yields first). The crimson tone and its hover are accent-ladder rungs, the hover at 14 % so
the ink keeps 4.5:1; every capsule shares one motion token pair; icon controls are circles; the bars' icon
controls wear the focus ring; the composer's field takes the field focus idiom. The dark theme keeps today's room
glows (the light theme drops them). DESIGN.md reconciles §3, §5, §6 and §8 with the bible, and the bible's seed
states the weights and motion the code ships. The Python browser pins move to the new structure and words, with
header geometry locks across every status word, three widths and both rooms.
The owner asked for the interface Ouroboros already has to be distilled into rules every agent extends the same
way. The bible replaces the one-paragraph visual intent at the top of DESIGN.md: a one-sentence description a
designer can picture, six principles (a plain room; objects float, trays inside them, outlines only on fields;
colour says who and what; one capsule control in three tones with role-based inks; air is spacing; motion answers
touch), the light seed values and where they live. Cards and trays (§5), the room's status sentence (§4) and Room
work status follow the new header: the status sits after the title as a sentence with dots and a caret, one
producer gives its word, tone and dots, an amber dot only for a waiting question, one Shade in every room. The
development and architecture chapters say the same in fewer bytes.
Main is the list of what needs the owner, so nothing waits in a section of
its own. The "Needs you" disclosure above the composer (#1899) is deleted
with its module, styles, docs and tests.
- A Project question's Main copy returns to the feed at its ask time, still
the Project's own full card with its Project reference. The
/api/state.current_questions census confirms or settles mounted copies and
never mounts one; a settled (answered or closed) pointer never mounts
unless its delivery is owed.
- web/modules/main_waiting.js: one amber pill in the composer's toolbar row
counts unanswered questions (Main's own included) and owner-required
actions, shows while one is off screen, and each press reveals the next,
oldest first; a question beyond the loaded history mounts at its own date.
Owner-required task actions are one System message each in the feed with
the task's existing controls.
- Every answerable card ends its head with a quiet x: one tap closes the
question without answering (disabled while an answer is typed); the server
records "Closed by the owner without an answer."
- An incomplete census withholds only the questions its typed gaps name, so
an install with permanent publication-address gaps still drops answered
questions from the count and retires settled copies.
- The model may close another task's question once that task finished
(expired_terminal), always with its own reason; a live task's question
stays its own line's or the owner's.
- Shorter status words; "Remove from Needs you" becomes "Remove from pending".

Conflicts resolved by meaning, both sides kept:
- obligations.DUTY_SETS declares both owner_questions (upstream) and late_review_marks (G1).
- owner_wait._sleep_wake: a left review's settlement wakes its park (G1); an explicitly
closed own question wakes it too (upstream).
- review_execution: upstream's typed billing-authority refusal around the start-request
row, with 03's note that a False write may still have landed.
- skill_exec imports: G1's executable_review_requirement on upstream's import layout.
- web/modules/model_wait.js: G1's notify hook and settled-save notice beside upstream's
includeWait filter.
- Tests: skill version rows (telegram 1.2.13 upstream, unix_computer_use 0.4.3 G1); the
persistence scan count 377 (+5 work scopes, -1 retired plan spec source); the system E2E
harness takes upstream's child_task_ids and body_candidate.
- Docs: each paragraph takes upstream's text with this PR's facts applied (plan record,
plan_reply shape, late_review_marks persistence row, renumbered checklist items, the
new-ID retry exception); generated maps and inventories regenerated; the architecture
book is paid back to 27 B below the new base.
Upstream tests written against the retired plan engine:
- tests/test_plan_standing_lineage.py stays deleted (it drove only the retired engine).
- test_review_local_accounts: the new stale-transfer test drives the retired engine end to
end and is removed; porting it to recorded earlier-schema fixtures is follow-up work.
- test_review_account_rendering: the selected-history checks stay; the retired plan-packet
assertions go (the organ's delivery carries no review-history account).
- test_helper_predecessor_history: the helper's own plan is written through the organ.
Architecture 06: the custody facts 03 adds (a delegated refusal before the paid stamp is
not_dispatched by a positive fact; readers use the writer's custody_root; plan asks collect
through the shared recorded-actor collector); the organ's late cross-talk, the custody-counted
settled frame, the reply contract's first-object rule and named ignored items, an unknown
outcome that is never "nobody reached", the one legacy loader, the legacy owed wave read as
history, and the task detail's host fold. The planning chapter and two neighbouring paragraphs
are tightened to pay for it. Shape lists name plan_reply (01, DEVELOPMENT 05); 01 maps
plan_delivery.py. DESIGN: the Plan group's organ semantics beside the earlier-schema wave lines.
Inventories regenerated.

#1737 (pending_review=wait honoured in Cyber Pro), #1731 (Auto = typed
nomination, Required = nomination or observed production, Off buys no root
panel; acceptance_material), #1736, #1735, #1723, #1742, #1667 and the owner's
O9 Settings save under Wrap up, #1738 (late_review_marks: one host mark in the
owning room, released only by the integrating mind), and the receptive wait
(an addressed message ends only the author's wait).
Dropped, and why:
- ouroboros/tools/plan_review_collect.py (owe_plan_wave, settle_ended_plan_wave,
publish_ended_plan_feedback, _late_plan_lines, attach_historical_results(errors))
and ouroboros/tools/plan_review_artifacts.py (the record_plan_review_supplement
latch, author_ended, owe-before-publication in record_exact_wave): the v2 plan
engine they extend is retired on this candidate (the collector is deleted;
late v2 results are history only). Late plan delivery is re-made on the
planning organ in a later commit.
- the two tools/review.py hunks that drop the ToolResult re-imports at :186 and
:260: upstream already hoisted that import to the function's first statement.
- the nine plan-wave cases of tests/test_late_review_marks.py (they drive the
deleted collector); rewritten as organ scenarios in a later commit.
Re-merged, restored, re-homed:
- owner_wait._sleep_wake: G1's left-review settlement wake merged with upstream
#1864 (the sleep path keeps acquisition_budget(0)).
- web/modules/chat.js: the model-wait controller gets notify: showToast again.
- web/modules/settings.js would reach 1601 lines (cap 1600): the Settings
policy-state lines (policyValueLabel, G1's cyberReviewNote, syncPolicyState)
move to web/modules/settings_policy.js, one responsibility with no import
back; the one-line if bodies a5db squeezed into cyberReviewNote are blocks again.
- tests whose files this candidate rewrote get G1's new cases appended at their
natural place: test_awaited_review_not_degraded (wait keeps the same panel),
test_review_cyber_authority (skill_review texts), test_review_view_integration
(#1723 first gate wave), test_workflow_review_outcomes (clean PASS handback).
- fixture drift from G1's own #1731 rule: the _finality_pass traces of
test_acceptance_author_stop and test_review_author_finality record the write's
observed outcome (a bare argument is an intention, not production).
- ouroboros/domains.toml registers ouroboros/tools/plan_delivery.py (D06),
missing on d63d458bd, so the domain map regenerates; DOMAIN_MAP.md and the
inventories are regenerated.
Kept as staged here and adapted in the following commits: the acceptance rule
after a rewrite, the plan_wave branch of late_review_marks._settle_owed, the
second (settled=true) left-review receipt write, the gateway's import of the
private _operation_stop_state, and the doc and prompt texts that rejected
(docs/CHECKLISTS.md:70, 01-high-level-architecture, 06-rules-by-change-class).
The phantom cancel-card fix (#1872) landed first; its meaning is kept and
this branch's work is reconciled onto it:
- task_ownership: the target's tri-state signed re-check (unchanged,
changed, busy) stays; a busy re-check still raises ValueError, now caused
by a contention StoreBusy, so the cost-projection sweep reads busy as no
observation instead of a change. Its busy test simulates a busy signed
read, the one place a busy read can occur now.
- cancel_task_by_id is cascade-only: the reaper's moved cancel handoff
drops the removed cascade keyword.
- The W05 Stop test passes the ingress's live-ownership proof, as every
in-process Stop does; custody without an open intent touches nothing.
- Activity: an answered root's late-work row (D10) and a row's own known
outcome (W10) are both rendered; a late-work row keeps its own words.
- Chapter 05 keeps this branch's text with the target's two new facts (the
cancel_task event only wakes the intent; the empty-body Stop's 200, 404
or 202 answers). Inventories regenerated.
- task_lifecycle: the two comments this branch wrote about owing the
salvage before the terminal row now say it once; the module stays at
1600 lines. server.py ends at 1774 (target 1770 plus W05's restart
returns); the size test's bound names it.

Local checkpoint only; QA and independent CODE/coupling review remain incomplete. Version-neutral contribution. Corrects automatically inferred local author; original checkpoint retained on recovery/header-prejoin-fd284490.
Textual conflicts were limited to documentation and generated inventories:
- docs/PERSISTENCE.md: the review seats row keeps this branch's capture
wording (A2); the views row takes upstream's read-only skill inventory
view (#1865). Each side changed a different row.
- tests/test_persistence_inventory.py: upstream's 373 -> 374 -> 372 history
plus this branch's startup verification stamp gives 373.
- docs/inventories/DATA_LAYOUT_INVENTORY.md and FACADE_INVENTORY.md were
regenerated with scripts/regenerate_inventories.py (--check clean).
The post-task call sites take upstream's signature without review_evidence
(#1866); emit_task_results still stores the evidence with the result.
