* feat: Command Code support
Reads the cmd CLI's session transcripts at
~/.commandcode/projects/<slug>/<id>.jsonl (CODEBURN_COMMANDCODE_DIR moves
the root). Checkpoint and prompt sidecars are skipped.
usage.inputTokens includes cacheReadTokens, so fresh input is
inputTokens - cacheReadTokens. The recorded costUsd is kept per call
(costFromBilling); a call without one is priced from tokens and marked
estimated. Forks copy parent message ids into a new file, so calls dedupe
by message id across sessions.
Desktop: Electron sandbox read path, macOS and Windows change watchers,
Windows tab colour. No quota adapter.
* fix(command-code): dedupe on meta.messageId, not the 8-hex line id
The top-level id is randomUUID().slice(0, 8) and only unique within one
file, so calls from unrelated sessions could collide and vanish.
meta.messageId is a full uuid that survives forks. Fixture ids now use
the real 8-hex shape.
* test(command-code): check sidecar skipping by file name, not a posix path
* feat: Amp support - read the local thread mirror (#1572)
Amp (Sourcegraph's coding agent) mirrors every thread it serves as one
JSON document per thread at ~/.local/share/amp/threads/ (AMP_DATA_DIR
honored, comma-separated). Each file is { id, messages,
usageLedger?{events} }; the ledger's events are the per-request record
(tokens.input/output, cache tokens joined from the billed message
through toMessageId -> messages[].messageId), with a per-assistant-
message usage fallback for threads without a ledger and a total-only
record billing as output.
Amp bills a subscription and records no charged dollars, so every call
is priced from the underlying model's token rates and marked
costIsEstimated; the recorded credits field is ignored (no published
per-credit dollar rate). Thread files carry no cwd, so sessions group
under the provider name. Registered eager; parse version
usage-ledger-v1; no artwork yet (mono-initial fallback, like Codebuff).
Surfaces: CLI registry + doctor probe roots, Electron sandbox read
paths + menubar catalog (Amp after Cursor, matching the Swift order),
Windows tray tab color + usage_guard root, GNOME prefs dropdown, macOS
ProviderConnectionCatalog, docs/providers/amp.md, README tool list,
CHANGELOG.
* fix: address Amp provider review feedback
Adds xAI's Grok Bot desktop app as a provider: per-bot sessions with estimated usage, and the weekly allowance read through the Cursor IDE login on the CLI, desktop Plans screen and menubar. No row unless the app is installed. Two independent review rounds on real data.
Reads DSH sessions from $DSH_HOME/sessions (default ~/.dsh/sessions):
one directory per session holding session.jsonl.zstd (or an
uncompressed session.jsonl when compression=none).
The .zstd log is a concatenation of independent zstd frames (one per
appended event batch), which node:zlib's one-shot API cannot decode
whole; the provider ports the frame-boundary scan from the official
@deepseek-ai/dsh-session-persistence-jsonl package and decompresses
frame by frame. zstd needs Node >= 22.15; older runtimes get a notice
and DSH data is skipped.
Usage follows dsh-token-meter semantics: an assistant/message usage
report is the final value for its (turn, step) and replaces the
earlier assistant/chunk sample instead of double counting. Models come
from the most recent request/header config; reasoning tokens are
billed at the output rate. One parsed call per (turn, step), dedup key
dsh:<sessionId>:<turn>:<step>.
OpenClaude is a Claude Code fork routing to any LLM; transcripts are
Claude-Code-schema JSONL under ~/.openclaude/projects/<slug>/<uuid>.jsonl
with replay.json siblings skipped. Only usage-bearing assistant lines
become calls; sidechain lines are counted as real spend; costs are always
computed (the transcript reports none) through the shared tables.
Real local testing: sessions generated with the actual CLI against
DeepSeek (deepseek-chat), parsed end to end.
The Cline CLI (npm `cline`, 3.x) stores sessions as
<sessions>/<id>/<id>.json + <id>.messages.json. The existing `cline`
provider only discovers tasks/<id>/ui_messages.json, so every CLI session
was silently reported as $0.00 — no warning, not even under --verbose.
Adds `cline-cli` as its own provider rather than a third root on `cline`,
leaving the shared Cline-family parser (Roo Code, KiloCode, IBM Bob)
untouched. It mirrors the CLI's own root resolution
(CLINE_SESSION_DATA_DIR -> CLINE_DATA_DIR -> CLINE_DIR -> ~/.cline),
implements probeRoots() so `doctor` can tell "not installed" from "wrong
override", emits one call per assistant message's `metrics` block, and
falls back to the session rollup when a session carries none. The
fallback reads `usage`, not `aggregateUsage`, which folds in spawned
subagents that are themselves separate session directories.
Two supporting changes, both required for CLI costs to report correctly:
- parser.ts re-priced cline-cli calls from tokens because the provider
was not on the reported-cost allowlist, inflating a real 12-session
local sample from $1.11 to $3.92.
- session-cache.ts gains the matching PROVIDER_ENV_VARS entry (so a
changed override invalidates) and a `reported-cost-v1` parse version
(so sessions cached before the allowlist fix re-parse once instead of
being re-priced forever).
Cost is treated as metered only when actually present and non-negative,
so a metered $0 stays reported while a missing or negative cost falls
back to token pricing — applied identically on the per-message and
rollup paths. Timestamps promote a seconds-resolution value rather than
silently landing in 1970, matching the guard kiro.ts uses.
CLINE_DIR / CLINE_DATA_DIR / CLINE_SESSION_DATA_DIR are added to the test
env-isolation list so a developer's real sessions cannot bleed into
fixtures.
The VS Code variant discovery bug reported alongside this in #874 is
deliberately NOT fixed here — it shipped in #882.
Verified against 18 real local sessions: 142 calls, 4,934,762 input /
224,561 output tokens, and a cost matching the CLI's own metered total to
the cent. `codeburn doctor` reports "Cline CLI OK".
Refs: #874
Adds a provider for Kimi Code CLI (MoonshotAI/kimi-code, the successor of
kimi-cli), reading ~/.kimi-code/sessions/wd_*/session_*/: state.json for
session metadata and per-agent agents/<id>/wire.jsonl event streams.
- Usage from usage.record events: inputOther->input, output->output,
inputCacheRead->cacheRead, inputCacheCreation->cacheWrite. The store has
no cost fields, so cost is computed from tokens and flagged estimated.
- Real model attribution: usage.record.model carries the config ALIAS; the
real model id lives on llm.request events. Rows resolve the alias through
the alias->model map first, with the nearest preceding request as
fallback, so aliases never leak into reports.
- Subagent wire files parse as separate sources under one session without
double counting; multi-turn continuations in one wire.jsonl are one
session with multiple turns; retry-only failed sessions parse to zero
usage; malformed JSONL lines are skipped.
- Tool calls feed the tool breakdown; tool state resets at turn boundaries
so a failed turn cannot bleed its tools into the next row.
- KIMI_CODE_HOME override, eager registration, PROVIDER_ENV_VARS and
PROVIDER_PARSE_VERSIONS entries, probeRoots for doctor, docs page.
Adds an eager provider for Amazon Quick Desktop (aws.amazon.com/quick/desktop),
which stores local data under ~/.quickwork. Usage source of truth is the
per-day EMF metrics JSONL (Model, InputTokens, OutputTokens, CostUSD,
session_id); real CostUSD passes through the cache like kiro/devin/hermes.
sessions.db (SQLite, read-only) enriches calls with titles, first user
message, and tool names, and provides estimated usage (quickdesk-auto,
costIsEstimated) for sessions that predate metrics coverage. Multi-profile
layout via profiles.json entries plus the migrated legacy root; honors
QUICKWORK_HOME; schema-tolerant (sqlite_master and PRAGMA introspection,
per-line JSONL error isolation). The on-disk schema is reverse-engineered and
documented as such in docs/providers/quickdesk.md.
Both provider-discovery loops (discoverAllSessions, and the menubar
provider enumeration in usage-aggregator) called discoverSessions with no
try/catch, so any provider that threw — a crafted or corrupt file reaching
a string op — took down usage discovery for all 32 providers at once,
blanking the whole dashboard, CLI, and menubar.
Add safeDiscoverSessions: wrap discovery in try/catch, warn once per
provider per run to stderr (matching the per-file parse-failure isolation
already in parser.ts and the whole-data-loss notices in fs-utils), and
skip the provider instead of aborting. Both loop sites use it.
discoverAllSessions takes an injectable provider list so the isolation
loop itself is tested; mutation-verified that reverting either call site
fails the new loop-level test.
Follow-up (separate): surface a structured 'incomplete discovery' signal
in the JSON/MCP payload so resident consumers can distinguish a real $0
from a dropped provider, and scope the warn-dedup per request rather than
per process lifetime.
Reads session-level usage from Hermes SQLite state databases
(~/.hermes/state.db and per-profile state.dbs). Tracks input,
output, cache read/write, reasoning tokens, stored costs, tools,
shell commands, and inferred projects.
- Provider reads both root and profile state databases
- Cost fallback: actual_cost_usd > estimated_cost_usd > LiteLLM pricing
- inferProject filters to user/system messages only
- Discovery query capped at LIMIT 10000
- sanitizeProject handles repeated leading separators
- All five review items from PR #386 addressed
- Tested against real Hermes data (557MB state.db with 198 sessions)
Closes#368. Supersedes #386.
Adds Grok Build (xAI coding CLI) as an eager provider with caching- and compaction-aware token estimation, real tool/shell extraction, Skills & Agents from spawn_subagent, grok-build pricing, and SuperGrok plan presets. Tested against real sessions; full suite green.
* Add zerostack provider scaffold
Register zerostack (gi-dellav/zerostack) as a core provider reading
plain-text sessions from $XDG_DATA_HOME/zerostack/sessions/. Parser is
modeled on pi.ts; on-disk schema is unverified and must be confirmed
against real sessions before a PR (see docs/providers/zerostack.md).
* Rework zerostack provider against real session schema
Replace the initial scaffold (modeled on pi.ts JSONL) with the verified
format from a real local run and the zerostack source:
- Sessions are one JSON file per session under the platform data dir
(~/Library/Application Support/zerostack/sessions on macOS,
$XDG_DATA_HOME/zerostack/sessions on Linux; ZS_DATA_DIR overrides).
- Tokens are cumulative session totals, not per-call, so emit one
ParsedProviderCall per session from total_input/output_tokens.
- Recompute cost via LiteLLM (calculateCost); OpenRouter ids arrive
route-prefixed and resolve through canonical names.
- zerostack persists only final assistant text, so tools/bash are empty.
Verified against a real session (DeepSeek v4 Pro via OpenRouter):
34.1K in / 961 out / $0.016, matching the recorded total_cost. Adds a
fixture-based test and rewrites the provider doc to match.
* feat(providers): add coder/mux as a datasource
Reads coder/mux session data from ~/.mux/sessions/<workspaceId>/chat.jsonl and normalizes per-assistant-message token usage into ParsedProviderCall. Discovery resolves project names from config.json; the token decomposition matches mux's own inclusive input/output accounting, and cost is recomputed via LiteLLM. Includes unit tests and a provider doc.

* fix(providers): discover mux sub-agent transcripts
discoverSessions only globbed sessions/<id>/chat.jsonl and skipped each
spawned sub-agent's transcript at
sessions/<id>/subagent-transcripts/<childTaskId>/chat.jsonl. Against a real
~/.mux (629 workspaces) those nested files are 5,889 sessions and ~51% of all
assistant messages, so sub-agent spend was silently dropped: total mux usage
went from $17,113 to $21,564 (+26%) once counted.
Walk the subagent-transcripts dir per workspace and attribute each child
session to the parent's project. Dedup is unaffected: the parser keys off the
<childTaskId> dir name, which is disjoint from every workspace id, so each call
is still counted once. Cross-checked parsed per-model token totals against
mux's sibling session-usage.json.
Also corrects the provider doc, which wrongly claimed sub-agents get their own
top-level sessions/<id>/chat.jsonl, and documents the Google reasoning>output
decomposition edge case.

* Add IBM Bob provider
* Add workspace extraction for Cline-family providers
Extract project name from workspace directory in api_conversation_history.json
so sessions show actual folder names instead of the provider display name.
Thread projectPath through ParsedProviderCall to avoid unsanitizePath mangling
hyphenated folder names.

Resolves merge conflicts with main (README.md, src/providers/index.ts,
tests/provider-registry.test.ts, package-lock.json) and addresses PR
review feedback from Qodo-Free-For-OSS:
- Codebuff sessionId now includes the channel root name (manicode,
manicode-dev, manicode-staging) derived from the chat directory
structure, preventing the same chatId from colliding across channels
when downstream aggregation keys by (provider, sessionId, project).
- Uses '/' as the channel/chatId separator to avoid clashing with
src/parser.ts's colon-delimited session key format.
- Adds tests: collision across channels, channel inclusion, and
fallback when the path doesn't match the expected shape.
- Updates README dedup paragraph to mention Codebuff's strategy.
- OpenClaw: JSONL parser with multi-path discovery, tool extraction
(toolCall + tool_use block types), model tracking via model_change
and custom model-snapshot events
- Roo Code + KiloCode: shared Cline-family parser extracts model from
<model> tags in api_conversation_history.json, strips provider
prefixes from model names
- Add cline-auto and openclaw-auto aliases and display names
- Add menubar provider filters and tab colors for all three
- Show cached data instantly instead of blocking on CLI refresh
Parse ~/.gemini/tmp/<project>/chats/session-*.json files from Gemini
CLI 0.38+. Uses real token counts (input, output, cached, thoughts)
embedded in each message instead of character estimation. Correctly
separates cached tokens from fresh input to avoid double-charging.
- Pricing for gemini-3.1-pro-preview, gemini-3-flash-preview,
gemini-2.5-pro, gemini-2.5-flash from official Google API rates
- Tool name normalization (ReadFile->Read, SearchText->Grep, etc.)
- Menubar tab with Google Blue color (#4485F4)
Closes#166
* Add Kiro provider and transparent auto-model naming
- Add Kiro IDE provider: parses .chat JSON files, estimates tokens,
normalizes dot-versioned model IDs for cost lookup
- Show "Cursor (auto)", "Copilot (auto)", "Kiro (auto)" in CLI
dashboard instead of pretending to know which model was used
- Route auto model names through BUILTIN_ALIASES for cost estimation
* Fix menubar tabs: add missing providers, show period-scoped costs
- Add Kiro, OMP to ProviderFilter enum so installed providers appear as tabs
- Merge Cursor + Cursor Agent into single Cursor tab
- Tab costs now reflect the selected period (7d/30d/month/all) instead
of always showing today
- Tab visibility still uses today's provider list so tabs don't
disappear when switching to periods with no data
* Add accent color picker to menubar with Apple system presets
- 9 presets using Apple's exact macOS dark-mode accent colors
(Ember, Blue, Purple, Pink, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Graphite)
- Color picker in header, persisted via UserDefaults
- "Burn" text stays fixed ember regardless of accent
- ThemeState is MainActor-isolated for thread safety
- Picker state lifted to AppStore so it survives .id() tree rebuild
- Accessibility labels on all color swatches
- Renamed brandAccentDark/brandEmberDeep/brandEmberGlow to match
their actual light/deep/glow semantics
* Fix review findings: case-sensitive cost lookup, Kiro timestamp guard, cache versioning
- Normalize provider dictionary keys to lowercase in tab cost lookup
so "Cursor Agent" (title-case from CLI) matches providerKeys
- Guard against missing/invalid/epoch startTime in Kiro parser to
prevent RangeError crash or 1970-01-01 ghost entries
- Bump DAILY_CACHE_VERSION to 4 so upgraded users get a clean
recompute with the new auto-model naming (cursor-auto vs default)
- Add version field to cursor-results.json cache to invalidate stale
entries that still use the old 'default' model name
Adds the Codebuff provider (formerly Manicode) as a single-file plugin
under src/providers/codebuff.ts, following the conventions used by the
pi and opencode providers.
Data source:
- Walks ~/.config/manicode/projects/<project>/chats/<chatId>/
- chat-messages.json holds the serialized ChatMessage[]
- run-state.json is consulted to recover the real cwd so sessions group
by the originating project directory
- manicode-dev and manicode-staging channels are walked automatically
- Honors CODEBUFF_DATA_DIR for a custom root
Cost model:
- Codebuff bills in credits, not tokens. Each completed assistant message
records credits on message.credits; CodeBurn approximates cost using
the public PAYG rate ($0.01 / credit) as a conservative upper bound.
- When Codebuff routes a call through an upstream provider and the
stashed RunState records real token totals (providerOptions.usage or
providerOptions.codebuff.usage in messageHistory), the LiteLLM-based
calculation takes precedence.
Tool normalization maps Codebuff-native names (read_files, str_replace,
run_terminal_command, spawn_agents, etc.) to the canonical set used by
the classifier (Read, Edit, Bash, Agent, TodoWrite, ...).
Tests:
- 18 provider tests covering discovery, parsing, multi-turn sessions,
providerOptions fallback, dedup, malformed files, display names
- provider-registry.test.ts updated to assert codebuff is registered
and its tool/model display names

- Add OMP provider reading from ~/.omp/agent/sessions (same JSONL
format as Pi, shared parser)
- Parameterize discoverSessionsInDir with provider name so sessions
carry correct provider field
- Add BUILTIN_ALIASES for proxy model name variants (anthropic--claude-*
double-dash format) that don't match LiteLLM keys
- Add model-alias CLI command for user-defined name mappings
- Wire setModelAliases into preAction after config load
- Add modelAliases field to CodeburnConfig
- Update README: OMP in provider table, model-alias section
- Adds support for Pi (pi.ai) as a new session provider.
- Pi sessions are stored as JSONL files under `~/.pi/agent/sessions/<project-dir>/` and use OpenAI-compatible model IDs (gpt-5, gpt-5.4, gpt-4o, etc.).
- `src/providers/pi.ts` (new): Pi provider - discovers JSONL session files, parses assistant turns, extracts token counts, tool calls, and bash commands, deduplicates via response ID with line-index fallback
- `src/providers/types.ts`: added bashCommands field to `ParsedProviderCall` so all providers carry extracted bash command lists
- `src/providers/index.ts`: registered Pi as a core provider alongside Claude and Codex
- `src/providers/codex.ts`, `cursor.ts`: added `bashCommands: []` to satisfy the new required field on `ParsedProviderCall`
- `src/parser.ts`: fixed bug where `providerCallToTurn` always emitted an empty bashCommands array instead of passing through the parsed commands
- `src/classifier.ts`: added lowercase tool name variants (bash, edit, read, write) to match Pi's tool naming convention in JSONL output
- `src/bash-utils.ts`: exclude `true`, `false`, and shell variable assignments from extracted commands; scan past leading `NAME=val` tokens so `FOO=bar ls` correctly records `ls` rather than being dropped
- `package.json`: added pi to keywords
- `tests/providers/pi.test.ts` (new): 16 unit tests covering session discovery, multi-turn parsing, tool/bash extraction, deduplication, zero-token filtering, and display name mapping
- `tests/provider-registry.test.ts`: updated core provider list to include pi
- [X] Unit tests pass (`npx vitest run`, 56 tests across 6 files);
- [X] Manually verified via `npx tsx src/cli.ts` report and showing Pi sessions alongside Claude and Codex in the dashboard.
Reads session data from OpenCode's SQLite databases at
~/.local/share/opencode/. Reuses the existing better-sqlite3
adapter (same as Cursor), lazy-loaded so users without OpenCode
see no difference. Adds bashCommands to the provider interface
so shell command breakdowns work across all providers.
31 tests, schema validation, diagnostic stderr on failures.
Also fixes a pre-existing tsc error in currency.ts.
Cursor module (sqlite.ts, better-sqlite3) now only loads when
cursor provider is actually requested. Claude/Codex startup
is unaffected -- cursor import never happens unless needed.
Reads token usage from Cursor's local state.vscdb database.
Supports per-request input/output tokens, model tracking,
and incremental caching for large databases.
- better-sqlite3 as optionalDependency (lazy-loaded, no impact on Claude/Codex)
- Parameterized SQL queries, read-only mode, per-row error handling
- Schema detection with clear error on format changes
- Cache layer with timestamp watermark for incremental reads
- Provider colors and [p] key cycling in dashboard
- 39 tests passing, zero regressions
