Give each chat its own folder, history, selection and pending operations by default, with a setting to share one browsing session. Preserve the existing fileBrowser API and expose an embedded owner so welcome panels reuse the real address bar, tree, file actions and shared configuration. Keep picker and rename prompts attached to their originating view across chat switches. Scope mount cleanup and uploads to their owners, and adapt narrow panes to retain readable paths and file names. Component and extension loaders remain unchanged. Validated with 36 targeted pytest tests, 10 Node view tests, and live Docker UI checks covering chat switching, file actions, shared settings, narrow layouts and modal/canvas handoff. |
