Keep Preferences as a unique support window in Electron and Tauri, persist the latest validated section and caller context, restore it after process restart, and clear only its own restoration state after an explicit close. Final application-window shutdown now ignores Preferences without discarding its saved state. Make second launches open a new application window by default while allowing the Advanced focus-existing-window preference to restore MRU focus. Reload the YAML setting for each launch and keep --new-window as the explicit override, with localized UI coverage across all supported locales. Pin Developer Mode actions and restart to the latest inspected bridge, and include the actual desktop artifact in native restart identity so parallel worktrees cannot silently steal a relaunch. Validated with 189 Electron native tests, 139 Rust tests, server automation route tests, UI/server/Electron typechecks, cargo fmt, Electron and Tauri release builds, and an isolated Tauri runtime lifecycle scenario. |
